How is it possible?

Lubbeek, clear outside, -4°C, 9:52pm

Of je het gelooft of niet, de winter gaat nog steeds door! Iedereen dacht het afgelopen weekend dat de winter eindelijk aan het uit-faden was(eindelijk), omdat we 5 ° C kregen afgelopen zaterdag. Maar ... het was gewoon voor de fun ... De temperaturen zijn terug onder nul, ook overdag. Gisteren werd het land wakker met sneeuw en temps van -8 ° C. Omdat de sneeuw kwam tijdens de ochtend, was het verkeer vreselijk: 945 km fileleed, en dit voor een klein land als België!
En het zal nog verder duren: het weerbericht vertelt elke dag hetzelfde, zelfs voor de komende 10 dagen!
Ok, dat is genoeg, we moeten blijven glimlachen! Dus heb ik ook leuk nieuws! Ik kocht een time-lapse camera! Ik was reeds vele jaren op zoek naar een dergelijk apparaat. Ik heb zelfs al geprobeerd om uit te vinden hoe ik het zelf kon maken. Maar iemand had reeds hetzelfde idee en zo kan de wereld het vandaag gewoon kopen.
Een time-lapse camera is een camera die onafhankelijk werkt en op bepaalde intervallen foto's neemt (of in dit geval kunnen het ook video's zijn). Dus, zodra ik het apparaat ontvang, kan ik het installeren op de werf. En vanaf dan kan ik hier mooie foto's met jullie delen.
Ok, nu is het bedtijd. Have a good ... nacht of dag!

If you believe it or not, the winter still goes on! Everybody thought last weekend that the winter was fading out (finally), because we got 5°C last Saturday. But... it was just for fun... Temperatures are back below zero, also during daytime. Yesterday the country woke up with snow and temps of -8°C. Because the snow came during the morning, the traffic was terrible: 945km of traffic jam, and this for a small country as Belgium!

And it will take further: the weather forcast tells every day the same, even for the next comming 10 days!

Ok, that is enough, we have to keep on smiling! So, I have some nice news too! I bought a time-lapse camera! I was looking for such a device for already many years. I even tried already to find out how to make it by myself. But somebody had already the same idea, so the world can just buy it today.

A time-lapse camera is a still-camera which works independant, and takes on a certain interval pictures (or in this case it can make also video's). Meaning, as soon as I receive the device, I can install it on the lot. And from that moment on, I can share here nice pictures with you.
