vandaag even geen bouw-verhalen! Iets veel belangrijkers: vandaag is onze trouwdag!
We begonnen onze dag vrij stressvol: iedereen moest toch wel wat tijd spenderen in de badkamer, daarna nog even langs in de winkel... en ja hoor, Dirk wilde stiekem nog bloemetjes kopen ...
Een half uur vooraf waren we met z'n allen klaar. Zodra de getuigen waren aangekomen konden we naar 't gemeentehuis. De ceremonie kon beginnen!
Na vele maanden van formaliteiten, was dit de kers op de taart: we konden elkaar het ja-woord geven!
En daarna volgden de ringen natuurlijk!
De felicitaties bleven binnenstromen! Zelfs sms-jes uit de Filippijnen. Ook een leuke verrassing was het feit dat vrienden spontaan langskwamen met een ruiker bloemen!
Daarna kon het feest beginnen. Maar natuurlijk konden we de familie in de Filippijnen niet laten wachten. Via de video-chat kon iedereen uitbundig zijn zeg doen! Spijtig dat ze er niet echt bij konden zijn!

Hello,
even today no construction stories! Something more important: today is our civil wedding day!
We started our day off stressful, everyone had still to spend some time in the bathroom. Then I passed by the shop ... and yes, Dirk did secretly buy flowers ...
Half an hour before the appointement, we all were ready. Once the witnesses arrived, we went to the city-hall. The ceremony could begin!
After many months of formalities, this was the icing on the cake: we could give each other saying YES! And then came the ring of course!
The congratulations were pouring! Even SMS messages from the Philippines. A nice surprise was the fact that friends spontaneously walked by with a bunch of flowers!
Then the party could begin. But of course we couldn't afford that the family in the Philippines are waiting for us to come online. Through the video-chat, everyone could tell his story! Too bad they could not really be here! Thank you to everyone for the tremendous support, prayers and congratulations and for the many messages!
